Car owners can now lock and unlock their vehicles from a distance using remote car door locks. The key fob is usually used for this purpose, which emits radio frequency signals to the central locking system of the car. Upon pushing either button, the remote sends a unique code to the car’s receiver unit. The receiver evaluates the code and, if correct, the central locking system executes commands according to the correct code. Remote car door locks are very convenient and save a good deal of time, especially in situations when a user is in a hurry, has their hands full, or when the weather conditions are undesirable.
